Sushi Club in Steglitz

Okay the service is terrible, but moody waitresses aside this Sushi place in the heart of Steglitz is great. Menus including a soup and tea start from 5,50 Euros and the Sushi is always fresh and really tasty. The atmosphere is much nicer upstairs, especially if you can get a table at the window.

Gärten der Welt (Gardens of the World) in Marzahn

A trip around the world can  be so easy if you go to ‘Gärten der Welt’ (Gardens of the World)  in Marzahn. It’s an easy stroll from the Italian Renaissance garden to  its oriental version and there will still be time to have a picnic under Japanese cherry trees on the same day.

An additional bonus is the ‘Ostalgie’ feeling you get when driving to Marzahn (ca. 30 minutes drive from the city centre) through the seemingly endless apartment blocks in GRD style.
